BYMV (Bergen Youth Music Volunteers)

Provide positive and warm music service opportunities to local communities.

We believe that young people can provide positive and warm music service opportunities to local communities. Their even small talent will be changed to big pleasure and hope for others.

There are awards available for Bergen Youth Music Volunteers. You can earn The President’s Volunteer Service Award. This award is a Presidential honor that recognizes the valuable contributions of volunteers nationwide who are helping people through their volunteer activities.

The BYMV Talent Contribution Program is open to students in grades 3 through 12 who possess the talent to teach musical instruments or have experience in orchestral activities. Currently, we are particularly focused on recruiting students with expertise in string instruments such as the violin, viola, and cello, while also welcoming students with teaching abilities in these areas.

About the President’s Volunteer Service Award

1. Volunteer Eligibility

1) United States citizen or lawful permanent resident of the United States (i.e., green card holder)
2) Must be at least five years old
3) Completes eligible service within a 12-month period (for annual Bronze, Silver, and Gold Awards) and over a lifetime (for Lifetime Achievement Awards)
